A fond farewell to Joanna Shurtey as she leaves DocCentrics
As we wave goodbye to 2018, we also say a fond farewell to our Operations Director – Joanna Shurety.
Joanna has been a key member of the DocCentrics management team for the past 6 years. She has been instrumental in building our talent pool and ensuring we have the best people in place to deliver quality products and solutions.
During her time at DocCentrics she has played a huge role in the strategic direction of the business, working closely alongside our CEO, Simon Howell who said:
"Our culture has always been to encourage people to follow their passion and Joanna has developed her interest in health and well-being into a compelling business proposition. We have encouraged her throughout the process and wish her success as she takes the plunge in setting up her own business where she’ll be helping organisations develop their employee's health and well-being.
Joanna takes a wealth of business experience from her time at DocCentrics. In addition, she has a great work ethos and determination that I'm sure will make her venture a great success.
We would like to thank Joanna for all her hard work over the years and wish her the very best in her new venture."
This decision is one Joanna made almost 18 months ago (when she qualified as a Health Coach and Nutritional Therapist), and since then we have been preparing for her departure to ensure a smooth transition.
Melanie Sowerby, who joined DocCentrics in September, has already taken on Joanna's senior responsibilities, and now takes the lead in developing our customer relationships.
